Legislative Process

The legislative process at a federal level can be a convoluted and complex process.  A process that many of us have very little time to understand.  It is the hope of Nurses Healing Nurses, that demystifying the process will help encourage nursing involvement at the local, state, and federal level.  The information denoted here will focus on the federal level, as the process varies minimally at the local and state level.  Additionally, this information only provides a very general overview of the process so we can all understand what happens to the healthcare bills that aim to change to change how nurses practice.
