In the current 2023-2024 congressional session, there are 59 bills that have already been introduced that include the word "nurse" in them. Several of these bills are duplicates as they were introduced as both a senate bill and a house bill, but that is a ridiculous amount of legislation, on how we do our jobs, being voted on by individuals in Washington DC that how no idea on what nursing or healthcare is like. Know who you are voting for and know what their stance is on the bills that impact us.
